This week has been nothing short of thrilling as we welcomed two stunning new alpaca girls to our farm: Stella and Krystal! Their arrival has brought a wave of joy to our everyday life here, and we are eager to share this experience with fellow alpaca enthusiasts.

The Journey

Bringing Stella and Krystal home turned out to be quite an adventure. Our friends at Autumn Wind Alpacas in Idaho ensured the girls were delivered with exceptional care. Art, the committed owner of Autumn Wind Alpacas, undertook the lengthy trip to Bishop, CA, where we met him. We are grateful for the effort involved in responsibly transporting these beautiful animals.

When we finally saw Stella and Krystal in person, it was a moment of pure joy. Both girls exude charm with their soft fleeces and gentle personalities. Stella just celebrated her 3rd birthday, while Krystal, a proud 5-year-old, brings her own wisdom and experience. Each girl comes from a notable lineage: Stella is a Northstar baby, and Krystal is an August Picard baby. Their impressive backgrounds promise exciting potential for our breeding program.

Introducing the Alpaca Girls

As Stella and Krystal entered their new pasture, it was clear they were meant to be there. Initially, they were quite nervous about the unfamiliar surroundings with all the new sights and sounds, but they are adjusting well. We look forward to introducing them to the rest of the herd soon.

These two lovely alpacas open new avenues for us in breeding. Their distinct traits and genetic backgrounds not only enhance our existing program but also ensure a focus on beauty and health in future generations. In the coming years, we hope to see cria that demonstrate the best qualities of both Stella and Krystal, contributing to the diversity and strength of our herd.

Welcoming Stella and Krystal has enhanced our farm. We are immensely grateful to Art and Val Bradford at Autumn Wind Alpacas for trusting us with these beautiful girls. As we share many wonderful moments, milestones, and discoveries with them, we hope you will join us on this exciting journey.

Stay tuned for more updates! Stella and Krystal have already captured our hearts, and we are eager to see what adventures lie ahead.
